An old kind of magic

he nods "you should....i want to see more even with the travel sickness...."

"Is there no magic that can help you with that? Not that I am suggesting I believe magic is a 'cure all' thing."

"possibly most of my magic is tuned to nature in some way so...its not much help i do have the pills they help other wise i would been scooped out of the bus"

She laughs lightly rubbing the arm linked in her own. "Do not worry. I shall carry you if I need to."

"i should not have eated but that is always the choice, food or not...starve or feel ill" he gives a self deprecating laugh

"I don't suppose you would have felt much better if you had been hungry and ill feeling. Perhaps we should take hand food like sandwiches or sausage rolls next time and you can eat while on the bus."

he makes a face "oh no...food while moving would not beed good at all"

"Well.. at least we do not have the problem of feeding you right now.. Just a place to sit down and drink." She looks around. "Is there anywhere open at this time?"

he looks round "the tavern type establishment is supposed to have a bar, and our room for the night, last bed on the journy I hope its clean"

"Oh? I didn't know you had booked anywhere. How much do I owe you?" she asks looking to him as they walk

"oh dont worry its cheep enough here it doesnt warrent it...lets check out the rooms before we decide to flea or not" theres a pun in there somewhere she can see it in his eyes

She watches him having worked it out. She just stares and shakes her head slowly. He will pay for that.

he manages another laugh and regrets it

"Serves you right," she comments with her own amusement noticing his wince of regret.

he gives her a side long look "probably, but it was to easy"

"Now now. You have a greater mind than that. .. not that I am challenging you to try anything more adventurous in this trip.. I am not." She looks to him knowing that she slipped up there

he gives her a side long look "but the cheap ones are so fun"

"If you resort to 'bad dad jokes' I will leave you in the wilds," she threatens with a laugh.

"alright i will restrain myself" he chuckles softly

"Good. Now.. is this the place?" she asks seeing a tavern at the end of the road

he nods "i would think so...unless they are hiding another somewhere"

"Better to double check. I have already failed most assumptions today," she muses as they go. It is a quaint little place. She finds it is rather nice

he is just happy to get inside and settled all he wants is a glass of water and a sit down

She greets the person there to serve them but lets Alan do the talking for the most part since he made the arrangements. She waits to see what he aims for - to their rooms, she assumes they have one each, or to the bar.

he gets it sorted and gestures for her to follow jingling a key "only two floors we have the last two rooms out of four..." he gives her a wink
