An old kind of magic

She finds she can enjoy the quiet with him rather than the awkward feeling of needing to find something to talk about. She is happy to travel with him and happy to sit with him when they rest.

the first night they get to set up camps kind of fun but he obviously knows what he is doing they get to star gaze a bit and talk into the night when they wake up the next day well he is up before her and gets ready...her first time to see him in his 'official' outfit

Stargazing was fun and brought back a good few memories for her of her father. They where not 'good' times but she remembers the fonder moments as well as the struggles. While sporting the bed head look herself she wanders out the tent in search of a morning meal and is stopped when she spots him just taking a moment for her eyes to focus and taking him in.

he has a cape on swept over one shoulder thats bare sun spotted but still firm he looks round giving her a smile "good day to you!"

"Um.. yes. Morning." She rubs her eyes with the heel of her palm and moves over to sit across from him. "Well.. I haven't seen you teach in this outfit before. You look.. different."

he laughs "no people stand on the skirts..." he pets his hip "but still.."

"You are wearing underwear under there aren't you? This isn't one of those kilt dealies?" she jokes, a smile playing on her lips.

he laughs "i am.....but i never really used to...modern times making me soft" he hands her her breakfast cooked over the just re-stoked fire

It is the smell that had drawn her out of bed and she is more than happy to accept it from him. "Mmm.. smells good..." She starts to eat before thinking more on the subject matter they where on. "Didn't you.. y'know.. get a bit cold?" she asks

he looks down "hmmm sometimes....thats what the cape is for.."

"Well.. It is kind of nice looking in an old fashioned sort of way." She pauses as she eats a mouthful of food. "I don't have to wear one of those do I?"

he laughs "well i didnt pack one so unless you did, it might be hard, and thank you..." he pets the skirts down"

"Oh good. Because I'd want a top bit to mine," she laughs.

he sighs sadly and nods "mm yes i suppose so"

"You suppose so?" She raises an eyebrow at him. "I am wondering who else is going to have pictures drawn of them at this rate."

"what sort of artist are you?" he grins at her cheekily

She nearly chokes on her second mouthful, saves herself then looks for something to throw at him

he just laughs and leans away "sorry could not help it"

"I wish I had brought my phone now. This would be a picture to put up on the student's macebook group pages."

he laughs "i am sure it would"

She has amused herself with the idea at any rate although she will admit. For several hundred years old he isn't that bad in form.

he gives her a narrow look judging her exspression "well young lady eat your breakfest there will be much walking"

"I am looking forward to it. Have you made this particular journey before?" she asks.

"this area? no i dont think so..."

"So now we are travelling by feeling?" she asks wondering.
