Figment of Thought

he gives her blank look holds his hands up "how.....actually i dont want to know how..."

She laughs. "Like I said. 'Used to'." She grins watching him.

he likes the grin it makes him smile back

"But.. I have never dated anyone who had a horse before.. uh ah! that is.. not that.. this is to be a date I mean.. I just meant that.." Her eyes widen with mortification. That didn't come out at all like she intended. She just meant she hadn't been horse riding with anyone before.

his brows go up "well...you can if you want...i am not complaining.."

Her face turns enough of a pink to match that part of her hair. She makes a nervous sound wishing for the world to swallow her whole now.

he chuckles and looks away "sorry....couldnt resist"

"So.. um.. .horse..? You have one? I suppose you would need one to be a 'horseman'.."

"i do yeah...my faithful steed...and for when i want to look more rockstar i have my bike...which i also feel less guilty leaving in carparks"

He earns another laugh at least. "Well I don't suppose there are many stables in the city."

"one or two...or carparks that have slight grazing areas...." he smiles "i would love to show him to you though..."

"Where is he now?" she asks wondering if it's far.

he gestures "um that way theres a small allotment type affair that caters to the horse riding monsters around...plus they have a goat there he likes....i dont comment.." he laughs

"I met a goat once. We went to a petting zoo years ago. It was fun. I would like to meet this goat, and your horse."

he chuckles "alright then shall we go? and we can get you some tea to.....to make up for the coffee"

"Yes. It sounds like fun. Um... Will you be ok though?" She asks with a sudden thought and frown. "People won't see me.. It will just look like you talking to yourself if we go where people are.."

"i will just tell them i am out on a date with my imaginary friend" he grins

A smile pulls at her lips in light amusement. "Ok. Just as long as you don't mind. I know Alice got some trouble when she started to get a little older."

"mmm difference is i dont care...and my parents arnt around to get worried about my mental health"

"You are a doctor aren't you? Will it not look bad?"

"i am a doctor....but if they will not listen to me then...its their problem...." he shrugs "its not like your kinds unknown in the monster world"

She nods. "Ok. Thank you." She sits waiting for him to leave so she can follow

he brushes himself off and smiles at her taking the path to the allotment

She follows him as agreed already happy that she has someone to interact with.

he makes smaller gestures maybe but does not stop talking to her ignoring any odd looks, its not to far of a walk but far enough till neatly looked after garden patches come in view and a small paddoc with some horses and a goat in it ewens horse seems to be having fun running in tight circles to and from said goat which is chewing...and ignoring him entirely
