"yeah so many variables..." he smiles "longs as it looks like its dad huh"

"Why do you wish for my child to look Welsh?" she demands with mock insult.

"you chose to polute the family tree so dont blaim me if thats the case"

"Yes but why would you hope for the child to suffer for it?? You are a bad uncle! A bad uncle." She scolds him although a grin sits clearly on her face in her amusement.

"who says I was hoping for it, i dont want to have to buy sheep toys for the rest of its childhood"

"You will not. My child will prefer Unicorn toys."

he snorts "hah that proves it will go for dinosaurs.."

"Not if wishes to avoid the adoption centre," she states with a serious look but he knows her too well to take it seriously. She'd probably more likely just give it 'dinosaurs with horns' as a compromise.

he laughs "poor little mite"

"Yes and I have no one to battle him against..." She looks to Ewen and shakes her head as if disappointed at him for not upholding his end of things. "I am going to have to wait now until I do."

he laughs "if you get pregnant any time soon...." he gives her a look

"What?" she asks looking at him

"well unless you are we still have time to battle them at the same age teer"

"That is what I meant. I shall have to wait for you. You need a wife that will understand synchronised pregnancy."

"i need one that understands a lot of things about this weird ass family..."

She laughs. "Someone with a sense of humour then."

"would need that anyway...to deal with me.."

"That or a good left hook," she grins looking up when she spots somewhere that smells nice. "Mm. Does that place make food to be taken away?" she asks Ewen.

he looks over "uh...i think so..you fancy a picnic?"

"I do," she smiles. "I enjoy people watching and I know there is a park near by."

"sounds quite pleasant..what a nice lady like persute"

"Yes, I thought it would suit you," she smiles heading on over to look at the menu. She is likely to buy more than she can possibly eat. Eyes are definitely bigger than belly until she gets a hang of portions.

he snorts "one of us has to be" he has a look and is prepared to be the voice of reason on that front

He needs to be. Two pies and a large bag of chips is too much even for most men. She settles with the chips and a burger in the end and once they both have their meals they head on out to the park down the road. There are enough benches and the sun is out that day. Perfect for an afternoon.

he walks with her just enjoying getting to "good day for it even a bit chilly but that keeps the summer blooms inside..."
