Bogged down

She hums, glad he is not upset at least. "I suppose it was not needed," she guesses. Life was much different back then from what she has been told by her grandfather. She looks off into space for a while trying to imagine. What life must have been, what his father might be like and a mother left a lone for long periods at a time. What must she have been like?

he watches her face trying to take it in "your one curious woman"

She shrugs. "I cannot deny I am nosey."

"good because i would call you a lier love" he shakes his head

Turning her head she gives him a smile. "Life is boring otherwise. What would I do if not for butting into other people's businesses and causing trouble? Embroidery is not really my thing."

"i cant ever really see you as the princess in the pointy hat..." he looks her over "you dont seem the sort to need rescuing"

That makes her laugh. "No. I would much rather be in a saddle. Well.. used to anyway.."

"....yeah...i get that.." he watches her quite closely

Her lips twitch. "I am sure we can make an able body between the two of us."

"oh yeah love that we do...." he shakes his head "but what a body"

Not wanting to dwell on a lost passion she finds another topic to move onto. "If you are feeling well enough in the next few days perhaps you would like to venture outside for some fresh air?"

"aah air....yeah love, i would like that" he gives his checker board grin

"We can sit out on the balcony if you want a breather now? I am just hesitant to have to move too far."

"willing to try it..." he shifts in the bed to get up

"Well you are too big to sit on my knee, but I could always have Gan give you a piggy back ride if needed," she grins wheeling around so that he can follow her. It is only a walk up to the next floor where they can sit and look out over the grounds.

he steady's himself on the bed before standing "least the world not moving any more as such anyway"

"How is your stomach?" she asks moving as slowly as she is able

"twinges....but its better...not trying to escape at least.." he snorts as if to laugh but not quite managing it

"Yes I must admit, I am rather thankful that I do not need to explain why entrails where all over the guest bed." She brings them to a halt on the first floor balcony. It is not the best view but it is nice.

he leans back breathing "mm thats actually really nice...."

"The bed entrails or the fresh air?" she asks him with a smile. "Take a seat. I can always send someone for drinks if you want one."

he does as she directs and sits "thanks...no drink though...dont want to get back the the bed entrails yet heh"

"Would be interesting to make you swallow them all again," she mocks looking outwards to the sky. It had been a long ambition of hers to fly and thanks to Malcolm that dream came to life. She still enjoys flying but.. it leaves her without a goal to hang onto any more.. There seems to be that loss of an unobtainable passion she needs to fill, but has not found anything for that slot just yet.

"that sounds revolting" he watches her for a bit "what are you thinking about?"

She has to snap herself out of it having fallen into a bit of a daze. "Oh mm.. nothing really. Just thinking I need a new goal to go after really.. I cannot think of anything."
